Hmm...flat circuit around adelaide...most likely a bunch sprint between Greipel and Kittel...probably will be a pretty dull final stage...

F*ck it, Evans to go on the attack and rip the race apart taking back the overall through bonus seconds! :D

Actually, that seems reasonable.

Kittel to win the stage and the GC order will remain as it is.

The bonus seconds mean nothing to anybody bar those few guys in the top 4 of the GC. Greenedge have a far better leadout and sprinters to let Evans, Ulissi or Porte get any.

I don't think the Intermediate time bonuses should exist in this race (anymore) given it's no longer a sprinters race.
Increase the points value at the int sprints and put more emphasis on the sprint jersey instead.

id feel that time bonuses encourage attacks at the least and positive racing the climbs in tdu arn't that diffcult the time gaps have been very small

Renshaw led out Fenn and then beat him easily. Renshaw - Cavendish double act is going to own the big sprints this year.

What happened to Kittel there by the way, just disappeared?

I hope Kittel enjoyed his holiday this week... ;)

A little odd, as he seemed to start the week with some sort of form. Maybe it's San Luis for him next year!

Dull end to a good race. Can't really complain about the hilly stages. But only a couple of pages of comments on here tell the story. It is what it is and Gerrans was the hot favourite before the race started. Three TDU victories for him now. With a bit of tweaking this could be a much better race. See what the future brings. But good to see that Porte and Evans came out to play as well and Ulissi. Probably the best edition so far.

Liggett is convinced that Ulissi can win this stage.

Well his info showed him that Ulissi had won 2 under 23 word champs, so it qualifies him for 1500+ watts on the flat because he out sprinted the others twice "uphill".

He's the voice of cycling. The brain of cycling, however...

I honestly was pretty impressed he did manage to recognize every single rider in the sprints this week, even the likes of Geschke, Fenn and so on

They'll always talk it up to try an make it more exciting to the general audience who simply don't know.
