And also looks like Gesink was chasing Froome at the point of attack. With a small gap to Rodriguez (who is about to close it) and then Nibali who looks like suffering at that point.. but oh well, conclusions about 1 picture are dumb

Gavazzi could be on the far right with IMO Sagan, and I think it could've been Moser on the front right next to Purito and gesink.

How can it be Westra or Iglinskiy, when both of them finished 20 minutes back today? Gavazzi is the only other Astana rider in the front group.

Vino attacks everyone said:
If that is gavazzi I am mighty impressed. He is good at uphill finishes, but not almost hanging on Froome up a mountain good :)

edit: Agree with Ryo, probably Iglinsky or Westra

well, gavazzi was 7th at the finish line, pretty sure it was him then

I;'m not saying that it's gilinskiy? he's just as small as gavzzi btw or westra. but that it seemed like a bigger guy. maybe first astana is gavaziz and 2nd is nibali :p

purito seems ready to create havoc:

"It's a very hard climb, especially so early in the year. The gradient (5.7km at 10.5%) and being so early makes it one the toughest climbs we do all year."

"I like it because it's the final decisive stage, I like it because it's a showdown. Bring it on."

too bad there's no live stream to witness it :(

I'd be very surprised is Froome looses this stage. Indeed it's bad we can't see it live.

Yes, Vino attacks everyone suggested it might be Iglinskiy or Westra.

So yeah, maybe nibali is the 2nd, or maybe it's Huffman just caught from the beak like Vino attacks everyone suggested afterwards, or maybe it's Gavazzi standing. I guess we'll never know for sure. :p:(

I am very happy to see Sagan so confident here. Good news 4 weeks and 3 days from MSR.
Any news about Pompeiana climb? I do not mind him loosing monument to Cance, GVA or Kwiatko but loosing it to Cav, Greipel would really **** me off.

My respect to Cannondale people. It looks like they really know how to handle the talent.

Now there's also the question of Moreno or Purito.

And the red blob under Froome's armpit might also be JVDB or Gallopin who were also in the first group? (Although, admittedly, it looks more like Kathusha)

This picture is so confusing, I won't be able to sleep tonight pondering all of the big questions of life. Standing Gavazzi, Nibali or Huffman? Moreno or Purito or even a Lotto rider? :(
