Woah, didn't expect that after his weak display in Qatar. Excellent win for Kristoff. Good to see that he's on track for the classics, particularly considering that M-SR is back on the table for him :)

kristoff didnt have bad shape in his last race as such he just had some bad roadburn and eased up in sprints then.

According to Kristoff, he started the sprint with almost 500 meters to go and thought he had no chance of winning, but to his surprise, no one was able to pass him.

Will be interesting to see the race replay tomorrow.

Sounds a bit like Theo Bos, in the same race. He did a 500 m sprint with Bennati on his wheel.

Sagan quite back in both stages, which is quite odd. Has there been reported some problem? Or better, was he even trying. I know he is usually not in his top sprinting form in the start of the year, but usually not so bad either. Can't watch the replays on eurosport, so I have no idea.

My guess: for Sagan it will be the quality of the victories this year, not the quantity. Guess he's not that interested anymore in winning 'minor stages', no offence whatsoever.

It seems as though there is zero coverage of this race. I swear I was able to find video of this race last year and it was phenomenal. Why not this year?

Stybar then from Omega or it is GC guys time?
Former would be my guess. Maybe Sagan.

I do think the front group will be less than 30 riders.
