I notice Greipel lifted his head several times in the final sprint for the line. I wonder how much difference it makes to the aerodynamics whether you have yr head up or down and also if it makes any difference to the power output. I suppose its v difficult to keep your head down for 200 or 300 metres at 60kph, maybe its not easy to keep a straight line if yr looking at the floor!

aerodanymics really don't matter much in full effort for just 200 metres in what? 10 seconds?

Did that horse**** just come from you? :eek:

Why do you think Cav have (more or less) the same top-speed as Greipel, despite not being able to produce nearly the same amount of watts?

edit: and it's often around 0.01 to 0.05 seconds from first to second. Normally I'd reply with your words of 'you can do the math', but that would be dishonest of me.
