Nice win by Tejay, but he is a bit above the competition here.

Greatly above, but who the hell cares. :p

Very nice win for Tejay, attack and just keep it going all the way to the finish, that's the way to do it. :)

Van Garderen not only the strongest rider here, but also very determined:

It will take some ridiculous risk/chaos racing to derail BMC and TJVG. Maybe a combination of Tinkoff and Garmin.

Tejay has shown a new level of explosiveness this year. Not easy to outgun Majka to the line like he did yesterday, and back in the Volta a Catalunya he jumped from an elite group of climbers at a summit finish and then beat Romain Bardet to the line. Nice to see.

Wonder if riders might gift him a stage since its last race of the career?

Also, anyone knows what is the gradient up Vail (TT)? Looks like <4% to me but I hope I am just reading it wrong
I dont think Cannondale would go for it though. They were saving themselves for today

Phil and Paul saying the remaining distance of the stage is 15 miles whilst the GPS says 9 miles - anyone with a clue as to what's correct?

EDIT: The GPS has now changed to 11 miles remaining

I highly doubt it....often when someone gifts a rider the win it is because that rider has done something for them. Like last year when Tejay gifted the win to Acevedo (I think it was him) in return for him continuing to help keep the tempo hard so Tjay could gain time on the other gc riders.
