God, what's wrong with Moreno this year? His team did a perfect job in the final 2 k, but he was just ****ty and looked not agressive at all to get to the wheel of Lobato immediately.

Once again he shows he is the perfect super-domestique. He's got 0 victories this year, which is not good at all.

One of the TV commentators has been tipping Lobato for the win since the start of the broadcast when Movistar was leading the bunch, so it isn't like Lobato came out of nowhere.

It's true that no wins from Moreno isn't good at all, but Lobato was 4th in MSR and this is only his 2nd win of the season, both of them in 2.HC races in the last month. He just has better form right now whereas Moreno is still building for the Vuelta.

Last year it looked like Moreno could make the step from super-dom to leader, like Rodriguez did late in his career. But this year he has often disappointed when he got the chance..

If Moreno did not win, my pick was Lobato. That's not the discussion. Really good allround-sprinter, and in this field one of the favorites to win on this kind of finish.

It has more to do with the fact Katusha rode really well in the final. They tried everything to put Moreno into the best position. But the way he let Damuseau passed him, was stupid. Then Lobato went, and Moreno even didn't immediately jumped on to his wheel. He just isn't sharp the whole year. He looks like he isn't 100% focused, perfectly showed in this final.

He came with speed from behind, so he had the legs to win.

Yes, but only for the classics and one-week stage races. He will never be a leader for a GT, because he isn't good enough as a pure climber. He had the chance of his life last year in the Vuelta, but went down in the big mountains.

Maybe he has been taking some tips from Andy Shleck.

Definitely in terms of crashing

Hoy la primera caída del año pero con calma y la ayuda de Dios no va a haber nada ni nadie que vaya a interrumpir mi sueño

actually, is a good sign that he was at least able to finish at all :D

he could finish stages last year as well and he was terrible anyway with no improvement at all.

Very impressive performance from Lobato. Today he´s the favourite as well.
Nairo was good in a final which is not very convenient for him. He should win easily tomorrow.

Moreno is getting ready for La Vuelta where hé´ll kick some asses as usual :D.

Good win by Pelucchi! If he's on fire, he wins races. Too bad it's just 2 or 3 times the case in a whole year.
