Cancellara finished in 47'13"

1'02" ahead of Sergent.

Could be enough for the podium if there are cross winds on the last section.

Big gaps between the riders. :(

Not looking good for upcomming the battle of the GC riders. I don't want Froome and Contador to win 3 minutes on Quintana.

At the finish line:

Cancellara is 47" ahead of Kiryienka, and 1'02" ahead of Sergent.

There's nobody else on course at the moment likely to challenge for the podium.

The question is, who will become 2nd after Tony Martin now Tom Dumoulin is absent :D

If he wins... Froome is a joker, and TMartin has far from beaten Cancellara because he is 6 seconds faster at the first split.

I think the 2nd check is at Ambel , 26.6 km into the TT or 10.1 km from the finish. That means more than 60 km/h in the second part ( descent ) and 57.1 km / h in the last part (very slightly downhill ) for Cancellara. Which seems correct.

Otherwise he does 6.7 km in 10'36 with an average speed of 38.3 km/h in the last part, which can not be true.

Martin 16 secs up on Cancellara at second checkpoint.

Impressive to take 10 seconds on Cancellara on a technical descent section.

Maybe I am misjudging this, but I am surprised that Martin isn't beating Cancellara by more time.

Makes me think the GC guys (Froome, Uran, Contador) may have a chance of a stage victory.

Some proper climbers that will go hard starting soon. Will be interesting to see if they can challenge the top times on the first split.

One year ago on a similar course Martin didn't beat Cancellara by any time.
