Wait, what? Froome only lost what, 29 seconds to Contador and the Vuelta is over?!?

People need to calm down a bit here.

Wasn't it almost a minute?

I agree people need to calm down, but I think that people are reacting the way they are because Froome was the one who was "supposed" to gain time on AC.

Think people are celebrating Contador way to early.

I want him to win but there his now way is leg is gonna be 100% for the whole Vuelta.

Today may not be as comfortable for him as it might look.

Froome lost almost a minute.
The Contador hype in this thread was out of control though. His performance was very good indeed, but nothing extraordinary. Uran was much better and he was barely mentioned.

Hope Quintana isn't badly injured.

Movistar should use him to create chaos now, try to get into every break going - long distance attacks on stage 16 and stage 20 obviously...

There will be a fistfight to get into the break tomorrow. I can't imagine TS will try hard to defend.

Quintana limiting the damage very well, considering the severity of the crash and the amount of time it took before he got back on his bike. I'm led to think he might've not been very far from Alberto if he hadn't crashed.

Now we got the answer. Froome can take 1.30 from contador? I guess it's almost close. But on the other way around.

In a way its a good job Quintana did lose so much time, because if Contador does have a bad day because of his leg Quintana could have walked this with Froome looking a bit frail.

Hopefully Quintana is not injured at all and he destroys some of the climbs later on.

This isn't over yet. This isn't the same as in the tour, nibali had zero competition and one of the best teams and he had more time on his competition.

Contador's team kinda sucks, not that big of a lead, and movistar has a very good team to do crazy things. Quintana will go mental.
