And the most hyped rider on he forum is gifted the win... Disappointing stage from JRod

Don't think he was gifted that at all. He just timed it perfectly and had the legs to finish it off.

Martin should have sat in the pack and then attacked late. Brave effort by Gesink, who was right to go early. Nicely timed Aru.

Grit from Froome, but he just doesn't have the level to win this.

Too bad Gesink isn't explosive, his only shot is to attack from so far out. Aru can just wait until the last 1,5km. Rodriguez style

I've been telling you guys for 2 pages that he's bluffing.

WOW, Contador!

Nice spotted, I thought he was cooked. Weird that Contador and the podium contenders didn't crack him though.

Yes i know to some this is abit fanboy but i can not get over Froome's ride the guy is such a fighter. He was always getting gapped as soon as pace went high and he found his rythm they way he was picking guys ff was a joy to watch. I think they may regret not taking time off him here.

Nobody chased him down. Valverde and JRod too scared to expose themselves and AC happy to let someone else take the bonus seconds

I now hope Valverde takes the necessary bonus seconds to win this. Looking good if he can hold himself.

Yes it's why Gesink did the right thing, while Martin was a bit rash. Gesink maximised his chance to win. Martin would have been better off waiting.

Aru aka The Angel a breath of fresh air on this race, great win. :)

Purito disappointing, taylormade stage for him, Contador and Valverde as expected and Froome fighting for his position with heart.

Props to Gesink for trying something.

I think he was neither bluffing nor cooked, he just rode his own pace without going into the red before the very end.

Feel really bad for Gesink. Great ride from him!
Amazing win by Aru as well. Chose a great moment with top 5 staring at each other and nobody tried following.

Froome is a warrior. He was on a limit for half of the climb. Insane that he was able to come back and finish with the leaders.

Dissapointed that Contador didnt really attack himself, but he did ride a smart race

edit: Anacona loses time. Called it

I maybe wrong but im sure even the number 1 hating site cycling news(only joking) is liking Froome more and more. He is fighting like hell many would just give up especially his diva teammate.

Froome was often yoyo-ing backwards and forwards in 2012 (Tour as well as Vuelta) so today was no surprise
