Do you think the final is to hard or do you think that he won't get over the 3 categorized climbs?

If he will get over the Caracol, the final will be too hard.

If he will not get over the Caracol, then we don't even need to talk about that final;)

Tony Martin from a break. Out of the top riders Dan Martin has got to fancy a crack here, followed by Valverde obviously!

I don't see how a break survives with the long run to catch them before the last bumpy bits. The last climb will shell some weak riders and create small time gaps.

Another stage where a bad day is the end of GC chances.

Fewer than 20 km between the Cat. 2 descent and the bumpy finish, that's not a whole lot of time to make the catch.

To read the name of my town, BELORADO, in this prestigious and worlwide read forum where I live, make me proud.

It is without any doubt an historic day here.

The start it is not so easy as the profile shows, becouse the firts 7,5 Km are neutralized, and there is a 3 cat climb, with some parts at 9 % that they neutralized till his middle, but they must climb it anyway. The stage is really 196 km.

There will be a good temperature, I was in the street in t-shirt till now, although we have a fresh summer with some days at 3 degrees in the morning :( and there will be no wind, something very stange here, tomorrow start would be hard with wind...

So the stage is for me a good day to make a fuente De, but someone mucst be strong an take risk.

you can see more information about this stage here

We start today in our festivities, so some people is not happy with La Vuelta, becouse we have some inconvenients, If you want to see pictures about today festivities a day previous to La Vuelta, you can see here:

Valverde, Martin, Purito. They need the bonus seconds. Samu has been surprisingly good, so he might try something as well.

You can distance a less punchy rider like Uran on a day like this.

Given the stage design and his 6th position in GC, not too far off the podium; I think this could be a stage for Sanchez to try a move on. Get Cadel in the break, and see what can happen.

that will never happen

LOL, everyone on this forum is about 12. I can't think of a worse place to ask a question like that.

I find it crazy, the amount Dan Martin is forgotten in most lists on nearly every stage that is suited to his talent for these sort of finishes.
