In the early parts of a gt the top 10 always has riders who "shouldn't" be there. The high mountains and the tt's haven't sorted things out yet. Remember Cannondale did a good TTT - That is why he is up there right now.

I think that had more to do with Kelderman s.cking on that climb than anything else, but Bennett does have something to offer to a WT team I think. Has it been confirmed that he doesn't make the move to Garmin/Cannondale?

Yeah, something clearly changed there, but I don't believe he has been at that weight ever since. That doesn't make sense if he decided to focus 100% on the cobble classics.
