Yes indeed, the front camera gave me another impression, but on the replay it's a clean sprint.

I had the same feeling first time I saw it, multiple camera angles have their advantage.

Degenkolb did squeeze him, but it was a slow, gradual, slight diagonal. Without an actual swerve there's no way he will get penalised. Sprinting is a tough game.

Looked a bit ugly. Surely, pharao was blocked there.

Surely he ran out of room. But it was a wide finish and he had no business getting into such bad position.

Do you think a rider like him is going to be allowed in a breakaway if his losses are so small that he can get back into top 10 in GC?
And that would be a tough choice. Top 5 in GC is a great feat

Why would a rider like Martin need to be in a break to win a stage here? He'd win from a late attack.

Bouhanni easily should have won this. Was way faster then Degenkolb.

Lol, good joke.

Classic move from Bouhanni for someone who's at the limit.

#LaVuelta: @blingmatthews changed bikes mid-stage which is creating the confusion. Stays in red.

Bouhanni picked the wrong side, Degenkolb picked just enough of an angle to make sure no door opened. That's what you'd expect a pro to do.

Nothing wrong with Degenkolb's sprint, Bouhanni is just frustrated. Pretty good result for Hofland in his first GT.

does Bouhanni think this is horse racing or something?

you got to come up the centre if you want to win. trying to slip through on the rails wont cut it.

Degenkolb definitely left a lane for someone on his right and then closed the door in his own subtle way...

cant help thinking if Bouhanni can ride that fast one handed and complaining he should've gone around to the left and won.
