this is purito territory. last 4 kms are at 10%
about movistar, even if nairo will destroy valverde overall, i actually think valverde might do better than him tomorrow don't know why we'll see

i think froomey will win though and it will be only about if alberto can follow him. i hope aru will do great too

Martin has the advantage that Talansky and Hesjedal has been transformed into domestiques.

But this is a climb for the goats. Martin is IMO more of a puncheur than a climber.

There's only one thing i hope, that not many GC guys will be eliminated after this stage.

Would be awesome to still have 5,6 relevant guys within 1 min in the last week :)

Purito, piti or Froome FTW. Contador to hold on for dear life, i've a feeling he's gonna finish together with Aru.

I wouldn't say Purito isn't a real climber. Perhaps a little but under the level of these three, but still a pure climber.

Sorry, i have too;)

it's impossible to know how good anyone is right now. we're all just guessing:

quintana > froome > jrod, valverde, aru, contador > chaves, talansky...

although i would not be terribly surprised if purito popped one off. it looks like this climb suits him.

Good standings

I would say in 1st week chavito better than ac,valverde worse than murito,...talansky

There:D

If the others don't attack Froome early in the climb, the dawg will smash them with 2k to go. That is if he's in alien mode, we don't know yet. I also think Contador will follow. That is if he is in decent shape. In this scenario Aru third followed by Purito and then Quintana. Valverde sprints for sixth from a group with Uran, Keldermerckx. Small time gaps, Quintana takes red.

The other scenario could be attacks from where the climb ramps up first and Purito wins from a selected group.

Chaves (tried from an attack)
Evans
Niemeic
Zubeldia

Contador
Quintana
Third: Aru
Runner-up: Froome
Winner: Purito

Allright. But you could see it as a political message and cultural explanation in one sentence;)

We aren't guessing with Talansky. According to Martin, Talansky was one if the guys doing dom work to bring Martin back to the lead group today. Ie he definitely was never at the race for GC.
