Believe me, both Mollema and Costa were dropped and had to chase back. Now I don't know if that was because they couldn't do better, or because of bad placing.

Bad positioning most likely. Since the live feed came up I saw them riding in the back of the péloton, which is unusual for both of them.

Well both Costa and Mollema are still badly positioned so i would say they simply have bad form.

Costa just returned from altitude so it could be the same type of bad performance he had on the first MTF of the TdS last year.

He needs to learn from Purito how to come from Teide, win VaC and go back to Teide.
