Froome's last chance to save SKY's year, he'll be preps alright  I voted Quintana: Movistar are no angels ;) either. Team wise? Piti hasn't digested his lost podium. He'll Vino. The rest? See what papy does :D

I would love to see Quintana school Froome in how you climb mountains...not this new born giraffe on roller skates style of riding, with ridiculous seated sprinting...

All that aside I genuinely would love to see someone not favourite win it, as it would make the race far more interesting and we could debate on and on for years about how their super mutant performance should have seen them go down for a 24 for month stretch on the sidelines..

Clean Cadel was leading out the sprint for Zarbel this morning for about 500m not bad for an old man...it made me giggle...

Hopefully some close racing, Vuelta is often the most entertaining GT of the year. Is Froome 100% sure to race?

Cadel's pedigree gives him that right.

Yes, but we are talking about a race now in 2014 not 2011. It doesn't really matter what he used to do when we are talking about the GC contenders going for the top podium.

Curious that noone mentioned Dan Martin as being in the top 10 of riders the poll should have? Still a week to go, I guess...
