Eurosport will have highlights. The Mont Cassel stage of Dunkerque was sorely missed the last couple of years, it is always great racing. It is one of the most foolproof stages of good road racing, like Lagunas de Neila in Burgos or the old Nice-Nice final stage of Paris-Nice before they brought back the Col d'Èze CLM finale.

So close for Lammertink, he attacked with about 10k to go, and seemed to be headed for the win only to be passed by Omar Fraile with about 300 meters go to. Could have been a first win for Roompot and Lammertink, who has been going strong so far this year.

Great racing that!

Nice ride by Rudy Molard as well. Definitely one for the future in Grand Tour breakaways.

Mads Pedersen continues to impress. 7th on the queen stage which takes him to 6th overall. Really great result for him. Worst stage result was a 12th place in stage 2, nice consistency.

Wat a great stage. The local round in Cassel would not look bad as a WC-course! The director had a difficult job to give both the fight for the stagewin and the fight for the GC the attention they deserved, and I did not see the overtake in the last 300m of Lammertink coming. (although I saw only footage with French commentary, a language I don't understand very well)

My French isn't great either, but when you've got riders attacking all over the place, a huge fight for the stage win with a GC fight for dessert, it has to be good.

Although non-WC races tend to be less controlled, the course is definitely good.

Gougeard 18min down, even considering yesterday's effort he seems to climb like a brick :D Luckily he's super strong on the flats and has a nose for victory. I hope he becomes the next french P-R winner; Demare is way over hyped as a classics rider.

He has shown before that he can go will in hilly terrain as well. He just seems to have a nose for winning races, I think he can be a great stage hunter in the future.

Brilliant stage yesterday. Looks like Coqaurd just missed out on it today. If it was a metre more then he might have taken it.

Since this race is both over and hasn't had a comment for three days, can we swap this as a sticky thread for Bayern please?

Phew, this is still sticky a full week later. Even though there's no evidence of it whatsoever, we need a place for people to cope with the end of this race. A WEEK AGO.

I think we need a petition to maintain the legendary status of this race,it deserves to be here forever.
