Nico Roche might be a dark horse here, He was one of the leaders for LBL. One of the sky ds said that after training in Teide for the last while he is flying, 2013 Vuelta form.( Cant find the link now though). Though im not sure how the crash at LBL is gonna effect him. Probably will all depend on how good Froome is. It will be all in for Froome if he is on form, if not Roche might be a good plan B with Poels (if he has recovered in time from his crash at Fleche too).

Roche wont be racing after that crash at LBL surely

That said,

"After the race, Sports Director Gabrial Rasch was pleased to report Roche’s injuries weren’t as serious as originally feared, and was content with the way his riders had performed."

Lool, the Shark is such a wimp. He had Romandie as a part of his program and was on the provisional startlist, but he is too afraid to face the Dawg.

My Froomey is going to make them look like freaking U15 junior racers.

This will be your avatar if I win.

Lol...no way Froome wins stage 5 over a minute. Although I have him as a favourite for the race. My list of favourites:
***** Froome
**** Quintana, Špilak
*** Uran, Costa, Frank
** Nibali, Fuglsang, Pinot, Bardet, Majka, Thomas
* Peraud, Scarponi, S. Yates, Van den Broeck, Rolland, Zakarin

Looked at weather predictions, atrocious

I don't bet but if i would i put some money on Spilak

Wow I surely wouldn't bet on Froome if it is bad weather, especially at short odds. I don't know who I think will win now.

Weather wasn't too great last year and that didn't stop Froome winning.

Shocking that it looks as though there is no coverage from Sky sports despite them holding the rights and Sky's leader riding in the race!

Might as well call it the Tour de Dawg. Virtually unbeatable here. Too bad Tony isn't here to get outtimetrialled again.

Sky not broadcasting?? That totally stinks. Geez I'm getting it here in the US on tv (beIN Sports).
