Why don't the classics get raced like this

They race like this often enough to the cobbled classics though, but unfortunately recently they didn't do it in the hilly classics for some reason.

Racing from 70km out. Crazy stuff.

The days Eneco Tour was boring are long gone. It has become one of the most entertaining races.

Just like every other stage race?
Also i'd say 4 out of 7.

Wellens for the Worlds? How about Lombardia?

Are you serious?

He came fourth in Lombardia last year...

I'm talking about the Worlds. Not Lombardia.

In the latter race he's a good outsider (nothing more then that). In the Worlds he doesn't stand a chance at all.

You're right, not his type of course this year, last year's course then he would've been a good bet IMO. He will probably be made to work for GVA this year.

For Lombardia he is more than an outsider, not a favourite but sort of middling between the two.

He's probably going to be selected though, after winning what is basically his national tour. Maybe Bergen 2017?
