This stage looks good for Contador...I think Aru,Porte will attack Contador continously but Contador will follow and attack in the last 1.5 kms to take the stage by a very small margin

I have a feeling about intxausti for this. He dropped big time on Abetone, but he had already lost GC at stage 4. His shape should be fine judging by his results leading up to the Giro and he goes well in rainy weather. Has he had any problem regarding health? If not, he could win the stage from the break I think.

Team said he was suffering from the heath

Do you know if he is still suffering from it?

Ye he just doesn't like the heat, but today it should not be that warm.

“Neither Beñat (Intxausti) nor Ion (Izagirre) cope well with heat," explained sports director Chente García Acosta to Eurosport during the stage. “We're having the first really warm days of racing in 2015 during the Giro, and seeing how fast we rode yesterday, without chance of having proper hydration... added that Beñat doesn't like heat at all and Ion suffered some cramps and wasn't doing well before them, you can explain what happened yesterday. Still, the Giro is long and, as we saw today, we're up for the fight on every stage."

Not sure this is a stage for the break. I think Astana (and possible sky) will go hard on the first climb to try to put Contador in trouble...

I was very wrong yesterday though!

If they want to ride, this could be a great stage, but will they? All the hope is in Astana, since Sky changed to this uberdefensive tactic with Porte hiding and waiting. But since Aru is so aggressive i think he'll attack today, with what results remains to be seen.

Weather forecast is kinda bad for Campitello Matese. Showers in the morning and never above 10 degrees. Could still be raining in the afternoon.

Are live pictures in danger?
In danger of miracolously being shown you mean? :D

Visconti has said he'd like to get the jersey, so I'm expecting him to give it a try, either in the break (if he's let go) or before the real fight starts on the climb to Campitello Matese.

I doubt Contador will attack today. He will most likely try to hang on and try to minimize any loss of time.

“Yes, tomorrow is a complicated day for me. It’s a day that I was waiting for prior to my crash, because it was a stage, where I could have attacked. But now I have to be calmer and quieter on the bike and wait and see what my rivals do. At this moment, the only thing I’m thinking of is to put ice on my shoulder and knee to recover in the best way possible”, states Alberto Contador.

I had my doubts about Contador would attack but it now seems to be a certainty.

Visconti has a few things to consider:

1) He could try and join the attack and potentially get the maglia rosa today. However, although he's not much of a threat for the GC, he won't be allowed too much leeway and in that case we'll probably see Sky and Astana chase hard to set up a stage win for Porte and Aru. If this is the case, he risks going down on the final climb and lose quite a bit of time, perhaps missing his opportunity to wear the pink jersey.
2) He could just try and follow the leaders as good as possible on the final climb, limiting his losses and go for the maglia rosa tomorrow.
3) He could even try to attack on the final climb if there's a stalemate between the GC aspirants.

It will for sure be interesting to see what he decides to do today (and tomorrow).

Tinkoff-Saxo should definitely not pull unless they want to give Aru and Porte additional bonus seconds.

Instead they should send a man in the break and relax as much as possible before the last climb.

Visconti's best bet is wait until tomorrow. Try and limit his losses today and then go in the break tomorrow as tomorrow the break will take it. If he's in there, then whoever out of Aru/Contador/Porte has the Pink Jersey after today will let it go tomorrow.
