Still don't get the Tinkoff tactic. They should at least safe some of their riders.

Perhaps they think that making the race really hard for the full three weeks is the best way to crack Porte.

Little Nairo doesnt have it yet.

He is half wrapped in bandages, I don't think today's ride is any indication of where he is as a rider. Crashes tend to make you ride worse.

yet another miraculous Russian from Katusha? They should keep Zakarin's abilities hidden, send him to a long break in the first Giro stages, and then to go full *** in the mountains and sit on Bertie's wheel.

Love that... Olga. LOL.

Hope CG riders and those having the luxury to select teams by own will stay as far away as possible from signing for Tinkoff in the near future. Then, after circa 2 years from now this clown is history.

or Sagan tactics: good results with small low-pay team, then cash in a big check from Olga for a year or two

Sagan has no love here... but I like this guy. And screwing Olga makes him even better in my eyes. :D

Yeah he won a stage in Österreich Rundfahrt a couple of years ago. Kitzbuheler horn, I believe it was. He can do much better than this

Re: Re:

Velolover2,

The tactic is to ride around 200W to prevent any attacks against their main man while at the same time controlling the race and protect their leader. Ask Nibali about it.

So Simon Clarke has the time bonuses to take pink if Mathews doesn't get top three. Probably just an indication that they want to keep the jersey as safe as possible but it could be interesting if both Clarke and Gerrans make the finish tomorrow and Mathews doesn't.
