Was hoping Purito would ride this it should be one of his goals, a classic with an uphill finish. But Lombardia is more important, hopefully he really gives it a crack next year.

For today though I hope Pozzovivo can do something to salvage this season.

I would love to see Superman Lopez. I doubt Aru's shape, but he strikes me as a guy who never rides when not in shape and how long gone can the Vuelta has gone? And please Movistar.....

His plan was to compete, before he was forced to go too the Worlds. He only arrived at his home in Andorra on Tuesday. I just hope he still has something left for Lombardia now.
