What does Cav do? attack in the 1km before the final climb I guess.

EDIT: the reason being Cavendish might be climbing as well as Kennaugh but he takes the right hand side of the climb which looks longer than Kennaugh's left hand route so it benefits Kennaugh.

How did Bouhanni go down? My stream was very ropey. Not clear.
Yeah, looked like and FDJ rider swerved in front of him at 250 m to go. Think it was Anthony Roux.

Other than that it was a very strong performance by Cofidis and Nacer. Hopefully he's not injured too badly, if he's fit he could really make an impression in the Tour.

Been a great effort from Cav but surely he'd be better off just sitting up and resting for the Tour than burying himself for a potential 4th.

I don't get statements like this. He's riding this race anyway, why not giving as much as you can? It's not going to make a difference for the Tour

Well it may not make any difference but his target is the Tour and he's really buried himself in this race,I hope he hasn't gone too far into the red for it to have left its mark. That being said I'd love Cav to win!

You can also make the statement it's good that Cav is bury himself in this race, because he was poor in Suisse.

Cav's ride today has also made me consider him a possible contender for Richmond, especially when he knows he can lose some weight for it without a Grand Tour coming up within a week

Yes although Cav said this week he found Suisse on word the toughest raced he has been involved in.

He rides Suisse every year and barely ever wins a stage. Completely normal.

Kennaugh finally outclimbs Cavendish, who is utterly spent. But what a ride from him.

Edit; And because of a winding road, Rowe loses the sprint for third to Stannard.
