So nice to see Kai Reus at the front. Ofcourse he has no chance to win today, but it's good to see him back at a decent level. So much bad luck in his career / life.

Why so little interest for this great race? Seriously, today was a pretty exciting finale, though in the end it was just a poor sprint between the same 2 guys who haven't won a single race before this one this year.

I'm looking forward to Greg upgrading this race by 10 levels tomorrow by putting his name on the honour list.

Front group with Boonen, Van Avermaet, Roelandts, Bonnet, Petit and 20 others with 160 km to go. Two minutes ahead of the peloton.

There seem to be quite a lot of instances of food poisoning within the peloton in general. Can anyone explain? They have cooks and diet specialists etc, no?

Oh boy! This looks like quite the stage with such a beginning.

A shame for Brändle. I don't think he would have won, but he certainly had a shot.

According to the Sporza website, Démare has also quit the race. As has Verraes, the leader of the 'combativity classification' (first thing i heard about that), so all the jerseys are on new shoulders.

(First time posting here after an eternity of lurking 'round. Hi.)

With Brändle and Demare out, GVA is in the virtual jersey. He might take the stage as well. It's the hilliest of them all.

Unless Boonen can hang on and finish in front of GVA. But that's gonna be hard.

Roelandst, Vorganov, Claeys have a lead over Leukemans, Petit, Ruijgh, Duyn and the rest of the break has been caught, furthermore the Leukemans group has been joined by Terpstra and De Gendt from the peloton.

They're also joined by Dennis and Wynants now.
