So who will survive the longest of the break? Bak?

He's in good shape so if he doesn't put too much effort in the break as he sometimes do then he would be my guess also...

Why drop the bike like that? Mechanic 2 feet away. Man, what a douche that guy is.

Lately I've been seeing lots of riders throwing their bikes around like it's a paper plane. Shameful, really.

I guess when you have 50 bikes in a truck and you don't have to pay for them, and you're itching to get back and not lose seconds, I get it. I guess those guys don't have that "cringe" when a bike drops like we all do having to pay for the damn overpriced things.

I guess I was thinking at this point in the race the extra one second wouldn't have mattered and dropping it right in front of the mechanic just seemed like a *** move. But to be honest if it was a rider without such a rep for being a douche I'd probably not have noticed...

Depends how they throw their bike ...I mean if the chuck it full on then I'm ok with that.
Wiggo starts to throw with anger and then backs off. His giro throw was a prime example where his bike was happy to carry on racing without him .

I guess if it's expandable equipment (and for the pros it is), better throw it away, get the anger out of you, and continue the calmer you can be.
Similar to tennis players.

I think Thomas would be better trying to be invisible instead of trying to control the race. That's a lot of energy wasted and not really for any real reason. Others will sit back and just follow and have a easier ride.

My guess is that he'll somehow still be in the front in the finale, despite wasting a ton of energy. Just crazy strong, as if tactics don't matter.

but will he have any support ,,,that cost him victory last week as he had to do a lot of chasing down

To be honest, I don't know why there has been so much press about Wiggins on the cobbles. I know that he put in a good ride at PR last year, but Wiggins never seems to like riding in the peloton, especially in narrow spaces, and he isn't the best at fighting for position. I could be proved wrong next week, but these races just don't seem to be the best fit for him.

No idea. Just doesn't make any sense to be on the front right now either way.

Sky must be very confident in Thomas riding like this.

Could be in combinaton with a tactic to minmize potential for accidents...

As long at the pace isn't higher it doesn't cost all that much..

We will se later i guess...
