It's 28 seconds now

The gap counter has been really inconsistent as it keeps jumping up and down. It is now listed as 10 seconds and the second group does appear to have the leaders in sight, so I think that they'll come together.

Oss will sacrifice himself to bring back the leaders. Too bad, was expecting Sagan vs Valv vs Styby in Siena to see if i was right or wrong in my prediction :) but even if they catch the leading three it can split again on the last two sectors.

Okay, they are not working and it's bridging out. Winner comes from the first group! **** knows which one though! One of Valverde/Sagan/Stybar.

Yeah, the stronger riders will break away again. And it will be the same 3.

Hard to imagine peloton coming back. Who would pull? Most teams have their best riders in the front group.

Now they are all together, so will this earlier effort end up hurting the former leaders or does it just show that they are the strongest riders today?

the peloton isn't even trying. The race is in front.

Peloton is full with teammates of the leading group.

Orica could try, but they won't make it. Winner comes from the front group. Any race where the winner comes from a group made around 50km from the finish is great race!!

I do think that the cobble specialists like Vanmarcke and Cancellara will be dropped on the sectors with the steep climbs. Last year Cancellara got dropped there as well.

Still good they are here. Strong guys, but I think they will have to try to get away before such a climb.
