...226 km. Apparently the thread title has a pretty tight character limit. We'll look into that.

So now what. Given the next stage is a hard MTF, I don't expect much. But the stage is nice (even if worse than the one originally planned), so I expect a good race at least.

Contador to test himself and others on the last climb, Nibali to counter/attack on the descent.

Sax to win the stage ;)

Any info on the nature of the roads in the finale?
I'm not sure if I remember correctly, but someone has mentioned that he descents aren't naive at all.
A chance for a minor gain could present itself here.

Just a short effort so no reason for the GC guys to hold back on the final climb. I hope the roads are a bit tricky so Nibali pushes the descent.

Yes, the old layout was a lot better, but it could also be just me not liking it when things that i like get changed.

That can't be the surface they'll ride on.
And, yet, if it is - it's going to be hectic.
Any weather forecast? So far, everything was perfect.

This new layout reminds me of that section of road, massive gaping holes and poorly constructed. I've had to come back in as a new member as countless others and when I use forum its twitchy like its developed Tourette's. Moan over.

I hope something exciting can happen today to
Make tomorrow even more interesting. If Pinot goes over the top first he should be able to hang on on that descent, hopefully!

the logging back in was simple enough just required following instructions, however layout has changed way too much people don't like change why wasnt it more gradual?

The timetable doesn't make any sense. It says they will start at 9:10 and reach the finish at 16:36. So they will be racing for 7 hours? Doubt it!

I refuse to believe that, or they must have a death wish. Contador will try today, not only to try and win but also to thin the list of contenders
