Nice win from Poels, good on him to join the party!

any news about tomorrow?
no, I doubt we'll know anything before tomorrow anyway.
RCS will proceed with their usual policy of lets-wait-and-see-the-sky-in-the-morning.

Come on, you know he can survive. Did you forget you told yesterday me to "watch out for Poels" because he could beat Alberto?

So 21 minus 14 is already too difficult for me ;)

The climb was a bit harder than I thought. But boring as hell. Glad there was Paris-Nice today.

MTN sign all these washed up big names and check out Steve Cummings sitting 3rd GC.
EBH showed some signs of life today as well, I was surprised to see him climbing that well considering how overweight he is (78 kgs+...). He was dropped by the main group just a few hundred meters before the top.

Indeed, it was an insane acceleration and at that point very few, if any, would have been able to follow him. He benefited from the fact that there were only 2 guys in the peloton who wanted to chase him seriously, and the technical descent also allowed him to stay away. Poels has shown in the past that when he is in top shape, he is an exceptionally strong climber. He hasn't done well in stage races thus far because he is not consistent enough. Similar to Richie Porte in fact, with a better acceleration.

delighted in my 3 picks for today had Poels,Uran,Nocentini , wasnt far off a tri cast. It was well raced and Poels again showed how devastating he is on the attack
