He didnt fail. Just not his course, simple as that. No hill, no corners. Just fukk speed, hence Dennis record speed who is a track rider and this is a track riders course.
P.s. I just came home from Utrecht. Had a great spot this morning where all the riders had to go through to enter the course and return. Got pics from pretty much all the greats, except Valverde.
When the race started though all the teamcars were next to me with running engines which was a bit too hot for my liking. Was hard to find a good spot after that so I left 40 minutes ago to watch it on my tele. Didnt feel like standing in 5th row in the heat and smelly people.

Martin doesn't look too fast, doesn't take a lot if chances in the corners like Dumoulin. His time is very fast though, I think

Oooh, Sagan is up soon. Should be interesting to see how his ITT form compares to Dennis or Martin.
