A nice breakaway. With a couple or two of riders of similar quality I would bet on it.
This way I'm not sure.

Good chance for Sagan to get the points jersey back. Going to be tough for Greipel to get over this Cat 3 in contention for the intermediate sprint

EBH doing a Thor move, now that's interesting.Too bad the peloton is chasing hard.

Better. I want a big fight before the break gets away.

I know, but no chance for EBH in a big break :( Anyway this is the stage where chaos should prevail like in 2013.

He can attack just as long he's in the break ;)

25 seconds now. Greipel or Sagan to get the maximum points at the intermediate sprint? Looks like they will be brought back before then.

You could see some very big name riders attacking from a long way out in the coming days in order to try to make big time gains. Also, to try to isolate Sky as well. They are the clear target and I think the are definitely going to find themselves under attack now. There will be almost a coalition of 21 teams against them.

Please, please make it happen!

that should definitely not happen, teams should ride to their own interest, not just to spite someone else.

to be honest i don't think it would matter, even if the other 21 teams TT'd up the 3 summits today v sky, i'd still expect froome to be in yellow at the end.

So Dan Martin is talking about an anti-Sky plot, yet it's also his team that shuts down the break and relieves Sky of their duties?

The 4 riders would have been a perfect break for Team Sky though

True, but then why don't you try to join them instead? You could even contact the teams represented and say they'll only let them go if one or two riders from their team may join them. Anyway, chasing seems to be in contrast to what Dan said.

Lotto didn't get back in time. Trentin took the srpint ahead of Sagan who picked up 17 and Greipel was in 9th picking up 7 points.

So Sagan is back in green.

Nerz has abandoned.

Froome in the 2nd group according to letour. Go!

You got it wrong,he was in the first with LRP.

Too bad. It was hardly me who got it wrong, though, as I merely quoted letour.

Edit: Nah. I got it wrong. Just saw the name Froome and the words "2nd group" and reacted too hastily. Sorry. Doesn't really matter as it is all back together again.

The two main groups are separated by 30 seconds. About 60 riders in the lead, including Froome and Porte. Greipel, Rui Costa, Teklehaimanot, Adam Yates, Kwiatkowski and Sepulveda are noted in the second group.

This is from Le Tour. You got it wrong.

Nerz abandon.
