Andy Schleck was second in the flèche wallone 2009, and I think quintana is a very similar rider. So I think its possible that nairo wont even do as bad as everyone expects.
quintana and andy are COMPLETELY different type of riders. still as long as quintana is placed well he won't lose much time. froome will have a harder time on mur

Based on what will Froome do bad? You got a performance of him on a mur like that when he's in top shape? If so then please share.

That is why Froome will not fail (unless he crashes, which ofc could happen to each and every rider).
You know it: Ryo makes a prediction, then it goes the opposite. That led to my T-5 pick for him. ;)

LOLZ.

So... there are those things on the road and casually the race is neutralized when we get there.

So they obviously didn't learn from earlier in the season, was it at Tour of the Basque Country where they had metal rods sticking out of the road in one of the final turns on a stage that would've ended in a sprint?

Man, imagine how good Froome's chances would be if he didn't suck so badly at finishes like this.

unless the others can take time from froome on stages that don't end uphill, they might be racing for podium. froome seems copiously strong.

Dan Martin determined to maintain his personal tradition of starting the Mur about thirty positions too far back and then flying past everyone to come fourth.
Sad but true.

Lol at people saying that Froome is not explosive.

He was NOT explosive. He accelarated in the first half of the Mur and kept his 99999 rpm's until the end.

To be honest he wasn't that explosive, Purito flew away from him.

But he put up an incredibly high pace for a long time, which means he almost caught Purito when his pace dropped.

Clearly the the steepness didn't hurt him that much though, showing that even on a short steep climb like this he's clearly near the top.
