To be honest he wasn't that explosive, Purito flew away from him.
But he put up an incredibly high pace for a long time, which means he almost caught Purito when his pace dropped.
Clearly the the steepness didn't hurt him that much though, showing that even on a short steep climb like this he's clearly near the top.

Tomorrow Sagan is there to help Alberto.TMP402 said:Froome will surely lose yellow to Sagan tomorrow... unless there's a repeat of 2010 when climbers managed to finish with Cancellara, Thomas and Hushovd.

Not positioned well but just looked like he didn't have the legs or was guiding Nairo.

This is beyond ridiculous. How can anyone believe this?

So I think its possible that nairo wont even do as bad as everyone expects.
Based on what will Froome do bad? You got a performance of him on a mur like that when he's in top shape? If so then please share.
That is why Froome will not fail (unless he crashes, which ofc could happen to each and every rider).
You know it: Ryo makes a prediction, then it goes the opposite. That led to my T-5 pick for him.![]()
LOLZ.
TMP402 said:GVA, Sagan, Gallopin and to a lesser extent Stybar all have a good chance of yellow tomorrow. Not sure of Gallopin's cobbled form, and since Sagan will be looking after Contador, GVA and Stybar will have a good fight for that jersey.
