Sky burning matches too early?
They have learned nothing from RVV, obviously.
Or they want to shed all the ones nursing wounds from yesterday - just because.

Cavendish leading the peloton and working for Martin, an apology for Stage 2?
He's gonna tweet something like "there you *** wankers I worked for Tony for 1 minute today. Happy now?"

Completely against narrative, Froome is the only one of the fab four to have ridden Paris-Roubaix apparently.

Yes, plenty of Euskaltel riders did it as well in the past

I thought that sector looked fairly hard actually - big stones with big gaps.

Latest weather reports are that rain will pass by just east of the todays stage. So looks like dry conditions till the end, though there is a low risk of a random shower.

Did anyone see how any of the GC boys did on that section? All I saw was a lot of Gallopin being dropped.

Oh if you think that was bad you dont watch Paris-Roubaix often (0: It was bad for us mortals, sure , but nothing comapred to the 4 and 3 star sectors that will follow later

It's a good sign. Cav can be very useful in the battle for positions.

those were not even stones, it looked as flat as a common road...wait for the real clash
(and it was extremely short too)

Was he even dropped on the cobbles? seemed to be gapped in the splits before the sector.

Saw Nibali cruising at the front for the whole section, think Froome was close behind but didn't see much else. Think the others are all fine too, it wasn't ridden too hard.
