Good news for Astana that the break wasnt caught. Now it will last till the string of sectors begin in about 40kms and Westra will be useful for Nibs

Etixx - Quick-Step
@Etixx_QuickStep
Quintana, Contador, and @UranRigoberto suffer mechanicals. Rigo with a bike change. #TDF2015

They are all back up again though. Let them be spared for that on the next important sectors pls

Did anyone see how any of the GC boys did on that section? All I saw was a lot of Gallopin being dropped.

Was he even dropped on the cobbles? seemed to be gapped in the splits before the sector.

Saw Nibali cruising at the front for the whole section, think Froome was close behind but didn't see much else. Think the others are all fine too, it wasn't ridden too hard.

Yeah I was watching video from twenty minutes before, ignore me.

ITV mini-interview reiterates that Froome is looking forward to today and wants to set the record straight. Bluff?
Has he bluffed so far in this years tour?

I think he will do fine. He has plenty of power to ride fast over the cobbles.
Yesterday he was allready shouldering riders away so he will continue doing so today :)

he might surprises us. He could ride better than what some expect him to ride badly. I'm more concern about contador...

I also think that Froome will want to show everybody that he's not a *** bike handler.. as I said last week, it wouldn't surprise me to see Froome riding over the cobbles like a motorbike, high cadance.

He’ll be in an escape after having brought down all the riders behind him...

For me, most dangerous moment is just after Sector 4, 34.5km to go, left turn into crosswind, open road. #TDF2015

Seems almost inevitable that a) there will be more crashes and b) Movistar will dump a lot more time

Froome will do fine just as long as his bike handling skills won't get in the way. But he has skilled helpers and it's not exactly Paris-Roubaix they're racing. The dawg will trash the entire field this Tour de France though, no matter what the outcome of today is. How can anybody not love that man? I mean, when he was asked about what Poels role would be in the team he said he's in the team to get everyone some coffee in the morning. The dawg > life.
