Nice win Slagter. There's a big chance for him at Cannondale, now that Dan Martin has moved on, to be the main hilly classics leader on a team with good support. Uran could be a rival for that spot, but he's likely to be concentrating mostly on GTs. I think he could be a serious threat at any of the main hilly classics bar perhaps AGR.

Despite being much less hyped than any number of Dutch climbers in recent times, he might actually have the best chance to win a big race of any of them.

I hyped him a lot following last year's Paris-Nice and then he faded. Hoping for big things from him.

Nice finale and a great win for Slagter. At this point Mollema clearly is the favourite for the win. If Yates didn't gain time today, I don't think he'll do it tomorrow. Špilak will do better than today but he is too far back. The same with Zakarin, who also did work for his teammates today.

Of all the riders who have not won yet this year (not counting TTTs), Mollema has the most second places. He got so close again. Would be nice if he could take out the GC.

Hesjedal was caught again (with some others who went with him).
Then Morton attacked and got caught.
Then Spilak attacked, Hesjedal followed, Mollema almost panicked, Didier caught Hesjedal and is gone, Mollema isolated. Spilak caught again.
Bystrøm has attacked. (sorry about the earlier info about it being Zakarin)
Cannondale chasing.

Michael Matthews pulling the group.

Tour of Alberta MTF ladies and gentlemen...
He outclimbed Kelderman in the 2010 Tour de l'Avenir and finished 8th, he used to be a pretty decent climber back in the day.
