Found it interesting in the Sky report that they mentioned Froome and Porte as co-leaders, granted Sky will keep all their cards open but if Froome was feeling a lot better after his illness I doubt they would even mention Porte as a leader.

Agreed, I have a feeling that Froome is not at his Ruta level, and could ship some time tomorrow and Thursday. We shall see.

Can't help but feel this race is more about Richie for Sky than Froome, given that the Giro is much sooner than the Tour. After watching the highlights, Froome definitely looked like he wasn't breezing through the stage, just like last year when exposed to the rain and cold weather at Catalunya.

This is Rojas thinking "I'm finally winning something.. And then my own teammate takes the victory away from me?"

The candidates for the general victory should attack today... I´d like to watch one or both going down the hill untill the finish line

oh, crap! does this mean cycling fans throughout the world will be denied the heart palpitating thrill of watching tops of team buses barely clearing the finish line timing devices while race information deprived commentators - between apologies for lack of actual live race pictures - stretch the limits of their commentating imagination??

what i DO know is this: if contador (or any other rider) goes on an attacking rampage from a distance even half the length of the previous run on sentence...well, it'll be catalunya OVER.

:D

Yesterday I actually went a little "It's not gonna make it..." seeing a bus nearing the finish-line.
Then I noticed it wasn't Orica...

I've a feeling something awesome is gonna happen today or tomorrow. Contador and froome have nothing to lose.

Well, given that any gaps will have to be earned or maintained with aggressive descending, there is a lot to lose...

If it's dry, that's better.

The only instigators might be the Cannondale bunch, Contador. AG2R aren't in France anymore so won't be as aggressive. Valverde is Valverde, Van Garderen, Porte, Porte Froome won't go from far out, and not with out a MTF. Aru and Uran are wildcards for being wild; won't be surprised if they go crazy or sit on.
