There is at least one sky rider still in the lead group, could well be him - didn't see him in the Froome group.

Tinkoff just aren't good enough in the mountains, it was the same in TdF.

It's a shame, cause Contador and Majka could perform better, if their helpers could match those on Sky, Movistar and not least Astana.

I thought they bought Kiserlovski on for this exact reason but he hasn't started a single GT ? Not entirely sure what's up there.

Tinkoff mismanged this season terribly. Have to do better in the future.

Well, at least 2 of the top 10 (Roche and Froome) are decisively dropped more than 40km from the finish. Still no mano-a-mano madness, but from a purely attrition standpoint this is already an exciting stage.

Where's the rest of the top guys? I saw Sammy Sanchez dropped, but I haven't caught a glimpse of Chaves (oh wait just saw him) or Pozzovivo.

No one expected Majka to have any help in the mountains when the team was announced - was obvious

Hansen should be there - so should Paulinho - that is what they are there for!

If the team was not riding for overall GC, there would be no point to riding the way they are.
