Very strong Aru... Tom should put time tomorrow in the cobblestones of the Avila s Wall becouse Cotos is not hard but more than today climb. Today was very though as I said but better profile for Domoulin.

Haimar start to show a slight sign of addiction to the camera, Voeckler might start preparing himself to replace him as the great ninja, although that means he need to retire first

At the weekend Ireland lost to England, Mayo lost to Dublin, and Kilkenny won the All Ireland. Thanks Nico, I needed that.

Great stage. Lots of fun. More race designs like this!

But really gutted for Zubeldia. He deserve to a stage victory. Hope he will continue one more year. At 38, he finally seems to have find his niche. Being an aggressive stage hunter. :p

Valverde targets Green.

You can have it Alejandro. If Purito gets the podium :)
Don't worry about Piti. You saw how bad he was on Ermita del Alba - the real threat is Quintana/Majka.

Majka is good, but not good enough to drop Purito by 1 minute. You already saw him chasing Valverde to defend his 4th place.

Quintana was on his limit too. He saw that Purito was in trouble, but he did absolutely nothing. Only some useluss attack downhill. He will not get 1.5 minutes on Saturday.

La Quesera has 7 final kms @ 6% and Cotos has 7 final kms @ 6%. The approach to Cotos is even easier. Only the accumulated fatigue of previous climbs can make a difference. If they wait to Cotos they'll get together to the finish.

Three seconds b/w 1st and 2nd on GC after 18 stages - Gotta say it's been one of the more exciting GT's.

Then so were Valverde's and Quintana's and Chave's and pretty much everyone's.

Did we watch the same stage? Majka barely got a gap once, maybe twice before backpedalling again. I have no problem with that since he isnt that strong, so he probably cant go harder without blowing himself up, but they werent proper attacks by NO MEANS which is why i lolled at initiated 'loads of attacks' when he didnt, at all.

Valverde's were at least somewhat proper and decent since he wanted to animate the group to go faster so he had a chance for the stage.

Great to see Nico get his win, although would have been fun for the ninja to win the sprint! One day down for Dumoulin.

Haimar must've gotten sick of his ninja status

He is just going: HEY! Look at me! I exist

I think he and Schleck has learned something from this Vuelta....
