Cant believe how massive they look compared to todays GC contenders (except our current leader). They weren't counting their grains of rice in the 80's were they.

Yes they looked like humans then!!! But in person where still very slim but Not Skeletors!

There were only a couple skeletons Gert-Jan Theunisse, Robert Millar. Guys that didn't win GC.

Cycling has improved a lot in that way, but riders are more exposed to heath problems a well.

Herrera was very skinny as well. He would loose massive times on the flat TT's.

They ride up the mountains faster nowadays and the thinner they look the better they usually do.
I'm not particular happy with it either :)
