Just trying put on the positive glasses here.
Could the fact that it's a (short) ITT make it somewhat safer to ride in those conditions? There obviously won't be any mass pileups, and since it's just about 3 km there won't be any health-risk from riding in the cold either.

There isn't a safer race than a prologue in such conditions. A short lone ride at the speed of your choice.
No reason to cancel it.

Bardet 2nd, less than a second behind the leader at both checkpoints. Poor guy.

just saw the update. He was supposed to start at 15h17, that's why I was finding it strange.

Didn't you think that maybe you weren't looking low enough on the list? He usually finishes prologues between the 25th and 50th positions. :p

I thought about that, but he was 7th at intermediate and it's such a short prologue, that I was thinking about a crash or mechanical problem. There was nothing on twitter about it, that's why I asked.

I noticed that too and I also looked for Talansky before. I think the site is not working properly, because the numbers of riders on the second list (finish line) should be always three less than on the intermediate because you need three minutes to go from intermediate to finish and there is one minute difference from one rider to the next. So the site is not perfect, because sometimes on the first list you have for example 10 riders more than on the second.

Now Talansky is listed, 51 seconds down. Very bad time.
