Too bad the late starters had the worst conditions. Or is it good. The gaps are pretty big for a prologue. Maybe we'll see more aggressive racing.

I don't want to hijack this thread, but after watching the way the Ardennes were ridden... I only thought about him dropping everybody in every one of them, besides GW.

He would certainly finish LBL solo if the race wasn't ridden in a different way. If Matthews finished Amstel in the front group, he would certainly finish way way ahead of him and maybe even exploded Gilbert's pet muur.

It was snowing and raining for the last guys. They all had to go a little slower. Spilak was around 5'55", Majka was around 6'00".

The prologue results could've hardly been better for the rest of the race.
