Considering the break is still 5' ahead with less than 40k to go, might be a surprise winner today. Someone needs to up the pace, Etixx I'd imagine want to ride for Martin and Alaphilippe, but no sign of them yet.
oh my god please not these idiot posts again thinking the break won't be caught

Nice to meet you too.

FYI, I never said the break would not be caught, just that the peloton were leaving it late.

fun fact: Les Gets paid ASO 80 000 EUR to get the TT, and further over 200 000 EUR to pave the forrest road for it - and this is just Dauphine, that brought them exacly zero new guests, just a bit of publicity... now imagine the Tour (this is just a tiny illustrative bit in the discussion about the "monopolist era" in cycling - and why ASO won't give up a cent without some killer attack)

Yes you are brilliant. You had a similar rant during the Giro where you were also facepalming and saying people were idiots for thinking the break would survive and then the break actually did survive. Ofcourse you never showed your face anymore in that thread.

Well, Valgren has been working on the front for a long time. Also, he wasn't dropped. His work for today was finished, so he obviously decided (or was told) to call it a day. He is definitely a better climber than this shows, and he was chatting with Kristoff going up, so it is not as if he was completely empty.

Attack by Kwiat!

What the heck is Kwiat doing? Killing himself to stay away with 15 k to go when he is probably one of the most explosive riders should it come down to the last ramp.

He probably doesnt have the shape

Too me it looked like he was suffering a bit after attacking, but I'm usually wrong when it comes to reading the facial expressions of a rider.
