I guess they value Stepanek playing in Mercedes Cup higher over a battle between two of the best GC contenders of the present days, 1 month before the Tour.

This isn't Eurosport's fault. Why don't RAI, Sporza etc have live coverage? Because the Dauphine organisers haven't started filming action, and decided not to until 3.15.

Don't know, I only have Eurosport available. I thought some french TV had the responsability of transmitting it.

Froomes team isnt that great though. Landa and henao were good so far but iirc everyone else seemed to be pretty Bad. Will be hard for froome to control this.

Maybe. But as you said, he's probably unsure of his legs and preferred to attack from a distance rather than waiting for the final climb. and after all is not the tour.
