Is BMC chasing ? If it's true they're REALLY stupid.
Why? Seems perfectly normal to chase in this situation

It's up to Sky to chase, if they want to put "pressure" on Sky they shouldnt work, they have NO interest in pulling.

This is why it's so hard to hate Contador. S/o to Aru as well for having a big set of balls too

And credit for Purito by joining the party :)

Yeah, brings back some memories seeing those two ride on the big mountains.

Why aren't Kreuz and Kiserlovski waiting for Contador? At least one of them should sit up and help him on the descent

It's when they get to the bottom of the descent that he's really gonna need them.

If they don't chase and contador gets away they end up fighting for second place. Better to chase catch Alberto and fight for first IMO.

Aru has nothing to lose here, he's 35th, 1:57 back, so nothing to do woth big balls. Contador I agree, though.

They're holding them on a short leash. Half a minute with half of the stage still to come.
Well, they can always say: "We tried, gave our best..."

Contador back in the pack

Alberto Contador, Fabio Aru and Joaquim Rodriguez have been reined in at km 62. 23 riders form the yellow-blue jersey group.

Sky closed it down before the top apparently.

Don't think so. Also to add to the previous points, in 30 mins time, Eurosport will begin a 30 min highlight show of yesterday's stage. No way they wouldn't just switch to live coverage if it was available.

That suggests there's going to be no footage apart from amateur footage taken by fans on the sides of the roads

Contador not only has his tinkoff teammates, but he also has Aru and the Astana boys too. This could get really interesting

BMC and Sky are just way stronger than Astana and 2 Tinkoff guys
But not stronger than Contador+ Aru :D
No but froome on his own is stronger than both aru and contador combined.
Bloody hell you were right!!
