Interesting stage, although I don't know how to interpret ASO profiles. Could be great, though.

I'm looking forward to Saturday; hopefully, I'll be somewhere on the flanks of the Madeleine. Not that I expect a lot of fireworks there, but hey, if you're in the vicinity, why not?

Landa will attack on Madeleine. Close to a sure deal, friend!

If Froome doesn't have the leader's jersey (hopefully) he will.

What is the run in like? Looks like it kicks up but it's hard to see from that profile.

The last km section for the stage on the website is empty. Going on the map it looks like the finish runs parallel to the Doux river before it flows into the Rhone. It's impossible to see where the finish is from the map as the finishing dot obscures it.

It looks pan flat anyway. If they go all the way to the town centre, there are a couple of roundabouts (straight through first, turn right at second) but overall a pretty open, fast finish.

Giant, Cofidis and Katusha chasing the break. Will be interesting to see if they underestimated the climb, or this will be a sprinters stage

Suddenly Movistar appear at the front so they might shake out the sprinters
