Amazing race! Even with only one good stage Eneco Tour is still one of the best stage races of the year :p

Also, does Sagan have a popularity problem in the peloton? I don't want to bring any speculative theories into being, but the lack of cooperation with his chase was really weird.

what is punishment for riding without id number?

Yeah. I was wondering about that too. Only noticed at about 3 K to go, so I don't know the reason. But could he get in some kind of trouble?
Of course, I mean for the bike there's probably a logical explanation; bike change. But how did he lose the number on his jersey?

It's not really a popularity problem. He's simply the strongest rider in the peloton more often than not, a ''Legend'' among his peers, according to Samuel Dumoulin. Being so good, it's normal his opponents freak out and focus in making him lose before they think about winning themselves, sadly.

Dumoulin bossing GVA and Sagan on a cobbled sprint.

LOL
Do you understand why he only worked for like 2s after degenkolb did everything he could and Sagan joined, after dropping GVA and kelderman?

It was pathetic, actually. What was he sprinting for, then?

I don't think the two are linked. Sagan seems quite popular, or at least not unpopular. He is just too strong for others to work with him.

You didn't watch properly. Dumoulin worked a lot with Sagan, the rest of the group didn't.
So who's pathetic? I think it's your eyes

What is so lolling?

I've never understood why Dumoulin has focused on GT's for so many years now. With his calibre he should definitely go for classics. Anyway, Greg confirms he's better than Sagan on hills, even on hills that are in Sagan's favour, just like in the Omloop.

BMC dropping 4 riders for Dennis, when they had GVA and Phinney, costed both GVA and Sagan the race. Worse tactic ever.

At this point you have to be trolling. Sagan destroyed GVA on every hill today, until getting tired of doing everything alone.

that's why sagan dropped greg on the climbs before. the only reason greg was there was thanks to lotto. and also greg barely worked the whole race

Come on, Sagan did so much more work than Van Avermaet :)

What? He worked for a bit, and stopped working for more than 20km, before going on a few pointless, worthless attacks.

Damn Sagan interview was killer.

"I was racing against everybody else. No one wanted to win. At least I didn't fall"
"wining or losing eneco doesn't change anything. I won more than everybody here. 2 stages, 3rd and world tour leader. "
