Well especially Zakarin and Valverde tried to kill him on the Mendelpass multiple times. So of course he's taking lesser pulls now. It's more their race now with Chaves, Nibali and Majka behind now anyway. Kruijswijk finally wants the second stage win of his career today!

They didn't call Dombrowski back. He was dropped.

Are you sure? Eurosport commentary were saying he was on the radio complaining with some colourful language and banging his handlebars. Although he didn't do any work when he went back.

He lost the wheel on the decent and couldn't catch back. Tried for about a minute before sitting up. That's when he banged handlebars.
