Maybe K should wait for Valverde?

But is he actually ahead of Valverde or is the GPS still counting him as in the Nibali/Chaves group? It took him a decent amount of time there to get back.

Scarponi waits. Gutted.

At least Kruijswijk isnt hurt. Now the stage will be extremely exciting.

Yeah he's lucky... without snow that would have a lot worse I guess.
PS: he doesn't need to panic anyway, just stay calm.

It's pointless discussion. Without snow, the visibility could have been better and maybe he wouldn't crash at all.

SK had 3 minutes and if he's not hurt, he'll likely be one of the fastest on the final climb, he should be ok.

Holy **** that's a brutal fall

To me it looked like the best possible way to crash there, most of the energy went into the motion, not the body.

Possibly it's not that much of a problem, the descend/flat os very long. Valverde and others might just escort him back before Risoul.

It almost looked like he landed on his head, it was made even more spectacular by the bike flipping up, the cycling equivalent of Tony yeboah smashing it against the crossbar
