30 seconds, and now 10...WTF ?!

So will Moviestar keep on pushing? Doesn't have to as VV is going for his usual podium spot.

Ah no he caught the Jungels group, Etixx to drive that group. What just happened to SK, sharp pain? Might not make it till the end of today :-(

I don't get people saying 'bad bike handlers.' These are top, top professionals. Of course their bike handling skills are good. Some are better than others, obviously, but compared to us on these boards, no comparison. The conditions, the pressure, the tiredness, the technical descent, visibility...These guys are all going all out, fighting for top spots on the GC. There was always gonna be a chance for some crashes, unfortunate as it is, but simply saying 'bike handling skills need improvement,' is rubbish.

It is probably something that is very hard to improve once rider has reached certain level. But some riders like Nibali simply are better than most of the peleton.

The Giro GPS truly is a thing of beauty. ATM it tells me SK is the best descender in the modern peloton taking heaps of time off Vincenzo.

Look like all the groups are coming back together, however the final climb could be very interesting!

I agree that almost any pro is great at handling the bike compared to amateurs. Kruijwijk is quite average compared to guys like Nibali, Amador and Valverde. That's the reason Kruijswijk crashed and Nibali didn't.

Not that bad actually for kruiswijk but when piti group catches nibali, it'll be really bad for him. And he doesn't look good

I don't agree Nibali is one of the best descenders, he just takes a lot of risks. And as seen in 2014-2015 crashes a lot as well. He's brave, not skilled

And then eurosport cuts to commercial just as we could have gotten a real time check...

tbh, this is about the best time to place an ad break since the action started.
