To be fair it's what the dutch like most. When someone does well they always start cheering before they've won.

Astana once again show their classless, last year with Bertie and now with Steven. I get that they dont have to wait but their going flat out all inn when he crashes thats just no respect to the leder jersey, what can you expect tho when the leader is Vino... What comes around goes around.

It was regrettable that Steven fell, but Nibali and Chaves were locked in their own battle with Valverde when it happened. It would've made no sense for them to stop.

No. Just that he had to work all alone for many many km while the others had teammates who would pull for them. SK killed himself too much on the flat.

Normally I also don't like attacks after the leader falls, but in this case they just had to do that, the chance to win the giro is just too big. And it's nonsense to say it's just Astana. OGE did exactly the same and the riders in the Valverde group also didnt wait although it would have hardly cost them time.
