He won't win but I'm pumped he's on tv

Eheh, he can win, impressive form so far.
Considering I expect a bunch of GC pussies behind, it's not that far fetched.
False flat after Agnello descent could be very tricky though.

Surprised to see Scarponi pushing on.

Maybe they are resigned to thinking Nibali just has no hope at all at this point

Scarponi doesnt't have that big of an advantadge. There's 100.000 ks of rather flattish terrain in between the two cimbs. If Scarponi is supposed to help him later on, or win the stage he has to so something now. Which is also why it would be massively stupid to do anything more than push a high pace over Agnello. It's surely about the Podium for Nibali, and he can realistically achieve more by not attacking right now.

Re:

I don't expect to see anyone attack on this climb? Unless they are willing to risk their podium chances. No one is above head and shoulder on everyone. Kruisjwick probably, He is so far the strongest but he wasn't very dominant either. The descent might be.

Is someone gonna have the balls to attack SK on the Agnello?

You can't just do this without a lot of help on the descend/flat. To attack would be outright stupid. Its the parcours, not the riders.
Movistar's got three riders in the break, waiting to help Valverde IF he attacks.
